It is the 214th largest by population in the U.S. state of Washington. The census designated place extends throughout a territory of 14.97 square miles (38.77 square kilometre ), of which, 13.27 square miles (34.37 square kilometre) of it is land and 1.7 square miles (4.4 square kilometre) of it is water, it is the 44th largest in terms of geographical size.
