Buffalo City is a city located in the Wright County, Minnesota, United States. According to the latest population census dating back to 2000, the Buffalo City is home to 10097 inhabitants. Its population was estimated at 14222 in July 2008, making it Minnesota's 83rd largest. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 7.79 sq mi (20.18 square kilometre), of which, 6.03 square miles (15.62 square kilometre) of it is land and 1.77 square miles (4.58 square kilometre) of it is water, it is the 121st largest by area in the U.S. state of Minnesota.
