Broxton City is a one of the Coffee County, Georgia, located in Southern Region (South Atlantic) of United States. The city has a population of 1428 as per the 2000 census data. As of July 2008, the estimated population was 1465, making it the 291st most populous in Georgia. The city comprises an area of 3.28 sq mi (8.5 sq km), of which, 3.24 square miles (8.39 sq km) of it is land and 0.04 square miles (0.1 sq km) of it is water, it is the 242nd largest in terms of geographical size.

As of the census of 2000, there were 1428 people in the city, organized into 527 households, and 363 families living in the city. The population density was 440.8 people per square mile (170.19/kmē), giving it the 350th most densely populated city among the Georgia. There were 612 housing units at an average density of 188.9 per square mile (72.93/kmē). The average household size was 2.68 and the average family size was 3.28. In the city the population was distributed as follows: 32.1% under the age of 18, 9.2% from 18 to 24, 27.8% from 25 to 44, 19.8% from 45 to 64, and 11.1% who were 65 or older. For every 100 females there were 86.7 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 77.5 males. The median age was 31.3 years, The median age of males was 28.1 years, for females the median age was 34.1 years. The racial makeup of the city was 42.65% White, 50.35% Black or African American, 0.28% American Indian, 0% Asian, 0% Native Hawaiian, 1.05% from two or more races and 5.67% Other races.
