Brookwood Town is a one of the Tuscaloosa County, Alabama, located in Southern Region (East South Central) of United States. As per the 2000 census, town has a population of 1483 inhabitants. The town's estimated population as of July 2008 was 1449, making it Alabama's 231st largest. The town comprises an area of 8.19 mi˛ (21.21 sq km), of which, 8.13 square miles (21.06 sq km) of it is land and 0.05 square miles (0.13 sq km) of it is water, it is the 163rd largest in terms of geographical size.
