Brookville Borough is one of the borough of Jefferson County, Pennsylvania, located towards the Northeastern Region (Mid-Atlantic) of United States. The population of the borough was 4230 as per the 2000 census data. The July 2008 population estimate is 3993, It is the 340th most populous in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania. The borough encompasses an area of 3.23 square miles (8.37 sq km), it is the 199th largest in terms of geographical size.
