Brooklyn City, Ohio is a city of the Cuyahoga County, Ohio, United States. According to the 2000 census it had a population of 11586 inhabitants. As of July 2008, the estimated population was 10410, making it the 157th most populous in Ohio. The city has a total area of 4.3 sq mi (11.14 sq km), of which, 4.28 square miles (11.09 sq km) of it is land and 0.02 square miles (0.05 sq km) of it is water, it is the 239th largest by area in the U.S. state of Ohio.
