Brookhaven City, Lincoln County, Mississippi is a city located in the Southern Region (East South Central) of United States. According to the 2000 census it had a population of 9861 inhabitants. As of July 2008, the population was estimated at 13296, It is Mississippi's 38th largest by population . The city extends throughout a territory of 7.35 square miles (19.04 square kilometre ), of which, 7.33 square miles (18.98 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.02 square miles (0.05 square kilometre) of it is water, it is the 80th largest by area in the U.S. state of Mississippi.
