Bristol Bay Borough, Alaska is a borough located in the Western Region (Pacific) of United States. According to the latest population census dating back to 2000, the Bristol Bay Borough is home to 1258 inhabitants. Its population was estimated at 953 in July 2008, It is the second least populous borough in the U.S. state of Alaska. It covers total area of 887.68 sq mi (2299.08 square kilometre), of which, 504.92 square miles (1307.74 square kilometre) of it is land and 382.77 square miles (991.37 square kilometre) of it is water, it is the smallest by area in the U.S. state of Alaska.

As of the census of 2000, there were 1258 people in the borough, organized into 490 households, and 301 families residing in the borough. The population density was 2.5 people per square mile (0.97/kmē), it would be the seventh most densely populated borough in the U.S. state of Alaska. There were 979 housing units at an average density of 1.9 per square mile (0.73/kmē). The average household size was 2.57 people, and the average family size was 3.33 people. In the borough the population was spread out, with 31.3% under the age of 18, 5.9% from 18 to 24, 34.8% from 25 to 44, 24.2% from 45 to 64, and 3.8% who were 65 or older. For every 100 males there were 83.6 females. For every 100 males age 18 and over, there were 79.6 females. As of July 2008, the population was estimated at 953, The racial makeup of the borough was 448 White, 7 Black or African American, 452 American Indian, 8 Asian, 5 Native Hawaiian, and 33 from two or more races.
