Brigantine City is a United States city located in the Atlantic County, New Jersey, United States. In 2000, city's population was 12594 inhabitants. Its population was estimated at 12647 in July 2008, It is the 123rd largest in terms of population. It has total area of 9.79 square miles (25.36 square kilometre), of which, 6.43 square miles (16.65 square kilometre) of it is land and 3.36 square miles (8.7 square kilometre) of it is water, giving it the 40th largest by total area among New Jersey. It is ranks eighth in the size of its inland waterways in New Jersey.

The population density was 1959 people per square mile (756.37/kmē), it is New Jersey's 159th least densely populated city. The racial or ethnic makeup of the city was 83.15% White, 3.94% Black or African American, 0.18% American Indian, 5.72% Asian, 0.05% Native Hawaiian, 2.29% from two or more races and 4.67% Other races.
