Bridgewater Town is a town located in Rockingham County, Virginia, in the Southern Region (South Atlantic) of United States. In 2000, the population was 5203. It has an estimated population (as of July 2008) of 5430, It is the 128th most populous in the U.S. state of Virginia. It covers total area of 2.4 mi˛ (6.22 square kilometre), it is the 215th largest in terms of geographical size.
