Bridgeport City is a city in the Harrison County, West Virginia, United States. The population of the city was 7306 as per the 2000 census data. The July 2008 population estimate is 7928, It is the 20th largest in terms of population. The city spans an area of 8.34 sq mi (21.6 sq km), of which, 8.3 square miles (21.5 sq km) of it is land and 0.05 square miles (0.13 sq km) of it is water, giving it the 24th largest by total area among West Virginia.
