Brewton City is a city located in the Escambia County, Alabama, United States. The population of the city was 5498 as per the 2000 census data. As of July 2008, the estimated population was 5279, It is Alabama's 95th largest by population . According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 11.47 square miles (29.71 kmē), of which, 11.33 square miles (29.34 kmē) of it is land and 0.14 square miles (0.36 kmē) of it is water, making it Alabama's 114th largest by total area.
