Brent City is one of the city of Bibb County, Alabama, located towards the Southern Region (East South Central) of United States. In 2000, city's population was 4024 inhabitants. As of July 2008, the estimated population of the city is 4219, It is 123rd most populous in Alabama. The city spans an area of 8.73 mi˛ (22.61 sq km), of which, 8.72 square miles (22.58 sq km) of it is land and 0.01 square miles (0.03 sq km) of it is water, it is the 155th largest by area in the U.S. state of Alabama.

As of the census of 2000, there were 4024 people in the city, organized into 1150 households, and 780 families residing in the city. The population density was 461.4 people per square mile (178.15/km˛), it is the 157th most densely populated city in the U.S. state of Alabama. In the city the population is diverse age-wise, with 21.1% under the age of 18, 11.8% from 18 to 24, 38.3% from 25 to 44, 19.2% from 45 to 64, and 9.6% who were 65 or older.
