Bremer County is a county in the United States of Iowa. The population of county in 2000 stood at 23325 as per the Census data. As of July 2008, the estimated population of the county is 23690, It is Iowa's 26th most populous county. The county has a total area of 439.6 sq mi (1138.56 kmē), of which, 437.9 square miles (1134.16 kmē) of it is land and 1.7 square miles (4.4 kmē) of it is water, it is the 19th smallest in terms of geographical size.

In the county the population was distributed as follows: 24.1% under the age of 18, 12% from 18 to 24, 23.9% from 25 to 44, 23.9% from 45 to 64, and 16% who were 65 or older. For every 100 females there were 93.6 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 89.3 males. Its population was estimated at 23690 in July 2008, The racial makeup of the county was 97.9% White, 0.7% Black or African American, 0.09% American Indian, 0.66% Asian, 0.02% Native Hawaiian, and 0.62% from two or more races.
