Brazil City is a one of the Clay County, Indiana, located in Midwestern Region (East North Central) of United States. The city has a population of 8188 as per the 2000 census data. It has an estimated population (as of July 2008) of 8272, It is 82nd most populous in Indiana. The city spans an area of 3.37 sq mi (8.73 sq km), of which, 3.34 square miles (8.65 sq km) of it is land and 0.03 square miles (0.08 sq km) of it is water, giving it the 136th largest by total area among Indiana.
