The city's estimated population as of July 2008 was 439, It is the 507th largest by population in the U.S. state of Minnesota. The city has a total area of 0.41 sq mi (1.06 sq km), of which, 0.4 square miles (1.04 sq km) of it is land and 0.01 square miles (0.03 sq km) of it is water, it is the 124th smallest in terms of geographical size.
