Brandenburg City is a one of the Meade County, Kentucky, located in Southern Region (East South Central) of United States. The population of city in 2000 stood at 2049 as per the Census data. As of July 2008, the estimated population was 2183, It is the 163rd most populous in the U.S. state of Kentucky. It covers total area of 3.96 mi˛ (10.26 sq km), makes it the 107th largest by total area in Kentucky.

The racial makeup of the city was 1927 White, 80 Black or African American, 11 American Indian, Asian, Native Hawaiian, 26 from two or more races and 5 Ohter races.
