Bradenton City is a city located in the Manatee County, Florida, United States. In 2000, the population was 49504. As of July 2008, the population was estimated at 53513, It is the 48th largest in terms of population. The city has a total area of 14.44 mi˛ (37.4 square kilometre), of which, 12.11 square miles (31.36 square kilometre) of it is land and 2.33 square miles (6.03 square kilometre) of it is water, makes it the 128th largest by total area in Florida.
