Bracken County, Kentucky is a county of the United States of Kentucky. The population of the county was 8279 as per the 2000 census data. As of July 2008, the population was estimated at 8569, It is the 15th least populous county in the U.S. state of Kentucky. Its area is just over 208.89 mi˛ (541.02 sq km), of which, 203.22 square miles (526.34 sq km) of it is land and 5.67 square miles (14.69 sq km) of it is water, makes it the 22nd smallest by total area in Kentucky.
