Boynton Beach City is a city located in the Palm Beach County, Florida, United States. As of 2000 the population was 60389. As of July 2008, the estimated population of the city is 68291, It is the 35th most populous in the U.S. state of Florida. The city has a total area of 16.25 sq mi (42.09 sq km), of which, 15.88 square miles (41.13 sq km) of it is land and 0.37 square miles (0.96 sq km) of it is water, it is the 110th largest in terms of geographical size.

As of the census of 2000, there were 60389 residents, 26210 households, and 15684 families in the city.
