Bowling Green City is a United States city located in the Wood County, Ohio, United States. In 2000, the population was 29636. As of July 2008, the estimated population was 29542, making it the 46th most populous in Ohio. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 10.19 square miles (26.39 sq km), of which, 10.15 square miles (26.29 sq km) of it is land and 0.03 square miles (0.08 sq km) of it is water, it is the 94th largest by area in the U.S. state of Ohio.
