Bowling Green City is a one of the Hardee County, Florida, located in Southern Region (South Atlantic) of United States. In 2000, the population was 2892. In July 2008, its estimated population was 2953, It is Florida's 554th largest by population . The city has a total area of 1.42 mi˛ (3.68 sq km), it is the 216th smallest by area in the U.S. state of Florida.
