Boulder City City is a city located in Clark County, Nevada, in the Western Region (Mountain) of United States. According to the latest population census dating back to 2000, the Boulder City City is home to 14966 inhabitants. As of July 2008, the estimated population was 14720, It is the 15th largest by population in the U.S. state of Nevada. The city has a total area of 202.66 sq mi (524.89 sq km), of which, 202.64 square miles (524.84 sq km) of it is land and 0.02 square miles (0.05 sq km) of it is water, making it the third largest by size in Nevada. It is ranks 20 in the size of its inland waterways in Nevada.

As of the census of 2000, there were 14966 people in the city, organized into 6385 households, and 4277 families living in the city. The population density was 73.9 people per square mile (28.53/kmē), it is the 17th least populated city in terms of population density. There were 6979 housing units at an average density of 34.4 per square mile (13.28/kmē). The average household size was 2.3 people, and the average family size was 2.79 people. Age range in the city was well distributed with 20.4% under the age of 18, 5.3% from 18 to 24, 21.3% from 25 to 44, 29.3% from 45 to 64, and 23.7% who were 65 or older. For every 100 females there were 97.8 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 96 males. The median age was 47 years, the median age of male residents at 46.6 and the median age of female residents at 47.4. The racial makeup of the city was 14149 White, 107 Black or African American, 108 American Indian, 107 Asian, 24 Native Hawaiian, 281 from two or more races and 190 Ohter races.
