Bossier Parish, Louisiana is a parish located in the Southern Region (West South Central) of United States. Bossier Parish had an official population of 98310 in 2000. The July 2008 population estimate is 110250, making it the 12th most populous parish in Louisiana. The parish comprises an area of 866.93 mi˛ (2245.34 square kilometre), of which, 839.25 square miles (2173.65 square kilometre) of it is land and 27.68 square miles (71.69 square kilometre) of it is water, making it the 21st largest by size in Louisiana.

In the parish the population was spread out, with 28% under the age of 18, 9.7% from 18 to 24, 30.5% from 25 to 44, 21.3% from 45 to 64, and 10.4% who were 65 or older. For every 100 males there were 104.1 females. For every 100 males age 18 and over, there were 107.8 females. The parish's estimated population as of July 2008 was 110250, The racial or ethnic makeup of the parish was 74.9% White, 21.15% Black or African American, 0.53% American Indian, 1.56% Asian, 0.09% Native Hawaiian, and 1.76% from two or more races.
