In July 2008, its estimated population was 3183, making it the 181st most populous in Wisconsin. The city extends throughout a territory of 2.9 mi˛ (7.51 square kilometre ), of which, 2.85 square miles (7.38 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.05 square miles (0.13 square kilometre) of it is water, makes it the 237th largest by total area in Wisconsin.
