Borden County is a county in the United States of Texas. According to the latest population census dating back to 2000, the Borden County is home to 729 inhabitants. As of July 2008, the population was estimated at 593, making it Texas's fourth smallest county. It is spread over 906.04 sq mi (2346.63 square kilometre), of which, 898.8 square miles (2327.88 square kilometre ) of it is land and 7.24 square miles (18.75 square kilometre) of it is water, giving it the 150th largest by total area among Texas's county.

In July 2008, its estimated population was 593, The racial makeup of the county was 97.98% White, 0.17% Black or African American, 0.34% American Indian, 0% Asian, 0% Native Hawaiian, and 1.52% from two or more races.
