Boonton Town, Morris County, New Jersey is a town located in the Northeastern Region (Mid-Atlantic) of United States. It is home to over 8496 people (2000 census). According to July 2008 Census Bureau estimates, the population of the town is 8469, It is the 191st most populous in the U.S. state of New Jersey. Its area is just over 2.47 square miles (6.4 sq km), of which, 2.35 square miles (6.09 sq km) of it is land and 0.12 square miles (0.31 sq km) of it is water, makes it the 246th largest by total area in New Jersey.
