Bonita Springs City is a city located in the Lee County, Florida, United States. The population of the city was 32797 as per the 2000 census data. The July 2008 population estimate is 42730, It is the 80th largest by population in the U.S. state of Florida. The city extends throughout a territory of 41.01 sq mi (106.22 sq km ), of which, 35.29 square miles (91.4 sq km) of it is land and 5.72 square miles (14.81 sq km) of it is water, giving it the 25th largest by total area among Florida.
