Bon Homme County is a county located in South Dakota, in the Midwestern Region (West North Central) of United States. In 2000, county's population was 7260 inhabitants. Its population in July 2008 was estimated to be about 7079, It is South Dakota's 26th most populous county. The county has a total area of 581.32 square miles (1505.61 kmē), of which, 563.34 square miles (1459.04 kmē) of it is land and 17.98 square miles (46.57 kmē) of it is water, it is the 16th smallest in terms of geographical size.
