Bogalusa City is one of the city of Washington Parish, Louisiana, located towards the Southern Region (West South Central) of United States. The city has a population of 13365 as per the 2000 census data. Its population in July 2008 was estimated to be about 12607, making it the 33rd most populous in Louisiana. The city spans an area of 9.54 square miles (24.71 kmē), of which, 9.49 square miles (24.58 kmē) of it is land and 0.05 square miles (0.13 kmē) of it is water, makes it the 57th largest by total area in Louisiana.
