Boaz Cdp had an official population of 1345 in 2000. making it West Virginia's 121st largest. The census designated place comprises an area of 4.53 sq mi (11.73 square kilometre), of which, 3.71 square miles (9.61 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.82 square miles (2.12 square kilometre) of it is water, it is the 41st largest by area in the U.S. state of West Virginia. It is ranks seventh in the size of its inland waterways in West Virginia.
