Blythe City is a United States city located in the Richmond and Burke counties, Georgia, United States. As per the 2000 census, city has a population of 718 inhabitants. As of July 2008, the estimated population was 816, It is Georgia's 380th largest by population . The city encompasses an area of 2.84 square miles (7.36 sq km ), of which, 2.83 square miles (7.33 sq km) of it is land and 0.01 square miles (0.03 sq km) of it is water, it is the 306th largest by area in the U.S. state of Georgia.

The racial makeup of the city was 81.62% White, 14.21% Black or African American, 0.28% American Indian, 0% Asian, 0.7% Native Hawaiian, 2.79% from two or more races and 0.42% Other races.
