Bluffton Town is a town in the Beaufort County, South Carolina, United States. In 2000, town's population was 1275 inhabitants. It has an estimated population (as of July 2008) of 4312, making it South Carolina's 206th largest. The town has a total area of 36.64 square miles (94.9 square kilometre), of which, 33.98 square miles (88.01 square kilometre) of it is land and 2.66 square miles (6.89 square kilometre) of it is water, makes it the sixth largest by total area in South Carolina. It is ranks tenth in the size of its inland waterways in South Carolina.

The population density was 37.5 people per square mile (14.48/kmē), making it the seventh least densely populated town in South Carolina.
