Blue Earth City is a United States city located in the Faribault County, Minnesota, United States. The population of the city was 3621 as per the 2000 census data. It has an estimated population (as of July 2008) of 3247, It is 160th most populous in Minnesota. The city has a total area of 3.18 sq mi (8.24 kmē), it is the 221st largest by area in the U.S. state of Minnesota.
