Blountsville Town is a town located in Blount County, Alabama, in the Southern Region (East South Central) of United States. The population of town in 2000 stood at 1768 as per the Census data. According to July 2008 Census Bureau estimates, the population of the town is 1985, It is 213th most populous in Alabama. Its area is just over 5.49 sq mi (14.22 sq km), of which, 5.42 square miles (14.04 sq km) of it is land and 0.07 square miles (0.18 sq km) of it is water, it is the 227th largest in terms of geographical size.
