The July 2008 population estimate is 2515, It is the 587th most populous in the U.S. state of Florida. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 3.19 sq mi (8.26 sq km), of which, 3.19 square miles (8.26 sq km) of it is land and 0.01 square miles (0.03 sq km) of it is water, it is the 485th largest by area in the U.S. state of Florida.
