Bloomfield Township Cdp is a one of the Oakland County, Michigan, located in Midwestern Region (East North Central) of United States. As of 2000 the population was 43021. It is the 35th most populous in the U.S. state of Michigan. The town spans an area of 26.03 sq mi (67.42 square kilometre), of which, 24.94 square miles (64.59 square kilometre) of it is land and 1.09 square miles (2.82 square kilometre) of it is water, it is the 24th largest in terms of geographical size.

As of the census of 2000, there were 43021 people in the town, organized into 16803 households, and 12704 families living in the town. The population density was 1725.1 people per square mile (666.06/kmē), making its Michigan's 178th most densely populated town. There were 17454 housing units at an average density of 699.8 per square mile (270.19/kmē). The average household size was 2.53 and the average family size was 2.97.
