Bloomfield City, San Juan County, New Mexico is a city located in the Western Region (Mountain) of United States. Bloomfield City had an official population of 6417 in 2000. As of July 2008, the population was estimated at 7234, making it the 34th most populous in New Mexico. The city spans an area of 5.06 square miles (13.11 square kilometre), of which, 5.01 square miles (12.98 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.05 square miles (0.13 square kilometre) of it is water, making it the 104th largest by size in New Mexico.
