Bloomer City is a city located in Chippewa County, Wisconsin, in the Midwestern Region (East North Central) of United States. As per the 2000 census, city has a population of 3347 inhabitants. In July 2008, its estimated population was 3304, giving it the 167th largest population among Wisconsin. The city encompasses an area of 2.75 sq mi (7.12 sq km ), of which, 2.69 square miles (6.97 sq km) of it is land and 0.06 square miles (0.16 sq km) of it is water, making it the 247th largest by size in Wisconsin.

In the city the population was distributed as follows: 24% under the age of 18, 8.1% from 18 to 24, 26.6% from 25 to 44, 20.7% from 45 to 64, and 20.6% who were 65 or older. For every 100 females there were 88.4 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 83.4 males. The median age is 38.8 years, The median age of males was 36.3 years, for females the median age was 41.1 years. The racial makeup of the city was 99.13% White, 0.06% Black or African American, 0.27% American Indian, 0.09% Asian, 0% Native Hawaiian, 0.39% from two or more races and 0.06% Other races.
