Blaine City is a United States city located in the Whatcom County, Washington, United States. The population of the city was 3770 as per the 2000 census data. According to July 2008 Census Bureau estimates, the population of the city is 4975, It is the 200th largest in terms of population. It covers total area of 8.49 square miles (21.99 kmē), of which, 5.54 square miles (14.35 kmē) of it is land and 2.95 square miles (7.64 kmē) of it is water, giving it the 106th largest by total area among Washington.

The population density was 680.4 people per square mile (262.7/kmē), it is the 329th most densely populated city in the U.S. state of Washington.
