Black Rock City is a city in the Lawrence County, Arkansas, United States. Black Rock City had an official population of 717 in 2000. As of July 2008, the estimated population of the city is 670, making it Arkansas's 248th largest. It is spread over 3.43 square miles (8.88 square kilometre), of which, 3.28 square miles (8.5 square kilometre ) of it is land and 0.15 square miles (0.39 square kilometre) of it is water, giving it the 152nd largest by total area among Arkansas.
