The population of the census designated place was 1438 as per the 2000 census data. It is the 742nd largest in terms of population. The census designated place comprises an area of 2.58 square miles (6.68 kmē), of which, 2.56 square miles (6.63 kmē) of it is land and 0.02 square miles (0.05 kmē) of it is water, it is the 268th largest by area in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania.
