It is the 40th largest by population in the U.S. state of Colorado. The census designated place extends throughout a territory of 127.53 sq mi (330.3 sq km ), of which, 127.46 square miles (330.12 sq km) of it is land and 0.07 square miles (0.18 sq km) of it is water, making it the fourth largest by size in Colorado.
