Bishopville City is a city in the Lee County, South Carolina, United States. It is home to over 3670 people (2000 census). As of July 2008, the estimated population of the city is 3859, making it South Carolina's 111th largest. The city has a total area of 2.39 sq mi (6.19 kmē), of which, 2.36 square miles (6.11 kmē) of it is land and 0.03 square miles (0.08 kmē) of it is water, making it the 220th largest by size in South Carolina.

According to 2000 Census Bureau, there were 3670 residents, 1438 households, and 907 families in the city. The population density was 1554.8 people per square mile (600.31/kmē), making it the 50th most densely populated city in South Carolina.
