Bishop City is a United States city located in the Nueces County, Texas, United States. As of 2000 the population was 3305. As of July 2008, the estimated population was 3139, It is the 462nd most populous in the U.S. state of Texas. It has total area of 2.37 sq mi (6.14 square kilometre), makes it the 738th largest by total area in Texas.
