Birchwood Village is one of the city of Washburn County, Wisconsin, located towards the Midwestern Region (East North Central) of United States. As of 2000 the population was 518. As of July 2008, the estimated population of the city is 548, making it Wisconsin's 145th smallest. The city comprises an area of 1.28 miē (3.32 kmē), of which, 1.13 square miles (2.93 kmē) of it is land and 0.16 square miles (0.41 kmē) of it is water, giving it the 207th smallest by total area among Wisconsin.
