Binghamton City is a one of the Broome County, New York, located in Northeastern Region (Mid-Atlantic) of United States. According to the latest population census dating back to 2000, the Binghamton City is home to 47380 inhabitants. As of July 2008, the estimated population was 44729, It is the 20th largest in terms of population. The city spans an area of 11.04 miē (28.59 kmē), of which, 10.44 square miles (27.04 kmē) of it is land and 0.6 square miles (1.55 kmē) of it is water, making it New York's 49th largest by total area.
