Bigfork City is a city in the Itasca County, Minnesota, United States. As of 2000 the population was 469. According to July 2008 Census Bureau estimates, the population of the city is 443, It is the 500th most populous in the U.S. state of Minnesota. The city encompasses an area of 1.81 mi˛ (4.69 square kilometre ), of which, 1.78 square miles (4.61 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.03 square miles (0.08 square kilometre) of it is water, giving it the 338th largest by total area among Minnesota.

As of the census of 2000, there were 469 people in the city, organized into 208 households, and 110 families living in the city. The population density was 263.5 people per square mile (101.74/km˛), it is Minnesota's 228th least densely populated city. There were 226 housing units at an average density of 127 per square mile (49.03/km˛). The average household size was 2 people, and the average family size was 2.68 people. In the city Age distribution was 16.8% under the age of 18, 9.6% from 18 to 24, 21.5% from 25 to 44, 20.5% from 45 to 64, and 31.6% who were 65 or older. For every 100 males there were 124.4 females. The racial makeup of the city was 458 White, Black or African American, 8 American Indian, Asian, Native Hawaiian, 2 from two or more races and 1 Ohter races.
