Big Run Borough is one of the borough of Jefferson County, Pennsylvania, located towards the Northeastern Region (Mid-Atlantic) of United States. In 2000, the population was 686. In July 2008, its estimated population was 646, It is the 396th smallest by population in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania. Its area is just over 0.71 mi˛ (1.84 sq km), making it the 922nd largest by size in Pennsylvania.
