Biddeford City is a city in the York County, Maine, United States. The population of the city was 20942 as per the 2000 census data. As of July 2008, the estimated population was 21435, It is the sixth most populous in the U.S. state of Maine. It is spread over 34.54 sq mi (89.46 sq km), of which, 30.01 square miles (77.73 sq km ) of it is land and 4.53 square miles (11.73 sq km) of it is water, making it Maine's 14th largest by total area. It is ranks sixth in the size of its inland waterways in Maine.
